Our Board
Uduma Okoro Kalu, Chairman.

Mr. Kalu is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1982), and holds a Masters in Public Administration from the same University (1985), He is an astute banker whose banking experience spans well over two decades. He left Equity Bank of Nigeria Limited as an Executive Director in charge of Consumer Banking, Treasury and Financial Institutions. He is presently the Managing Director of South Globe Ltd and also a member of the Board of various Companies.

Ola Olaniran, Director – Operations

Ola is a lawyer by training from both the University of Benin and the Nigerian Law school with varied work experience in the past 20 years covering banking experiences in public sector, commercial, investment & consumer banking and Oil and Gas. Ola also has over 15 years cognitive experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

His banking experience took him through the ranks and was at one time the Head of Energy Unit at Broad Bank Head Office. He left banking to join Sigmund Group (now Aiteo Group) as part of the team that took over the turnaround of the company and acted in various capacities from head of Finance to Trading, but with a bias for finance.

Ola has attended several onshore and offshore courses in finance, accounting and trading. He is a regular attendee of the yearly OTC conference in Houston. He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association

 

Lara Olaniran, Group CEO.

An astute professional with about 30 years post graduate working experience; and about 20 years Top management cognitive Oil and Gas experience. She has received training in several managerial, technical, interpersonal skills, personal effectiveness, leadership and general management skills. Currently she “A fellow” of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Institute of Management, also a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) amongst others.

Lara possesses vast consulting, statutory auditing, project appraisal, investment assessment & review, taxation reviews and accounting in various sectors and industry including but not limited to Manufacturing, Finance & Banking, Oil & Gas. Her vast managerial & consulting experiences cover business acquisition and re-engineering assignments, change implementation and design, process review & internal control projects. She is poised to displayed excellent leadership qualities that matches world class standards.

In her journey to impacting the society even further Lara shares her time between being CEO of Zone 4 Energy and Chairperson for Women in Action (WiN); a CSR initiative she founded stemming from a desire and passion to positively affect the lives of professional ladies/women in the society to achieve their full potential with eminent success records. She possesses several key management, technical, personal experiences and interpersonal skills which enables her effectiveness in performing her various responsibilities & roles including running the WiN platform. The platform encourages women to continuously succeed through teaching, encouraging and achieving (TEA) goals and dreams, the WIN woman understand the need to improve physical and emotional wellbeing in a holistic manner by vesting in oneself the power of choice which is an essential personal effectiveness skill to maintain a healthy work-life balance as a successful professional.

Ayo Banjoko, E.D New Business Initiatives.

Ayo has cognitive experience in the Downstream and Midstream (Waste Management) sectors of the Oil and Gas Industry. A PwC Nigeria Alumni, he has business advisory experience ranging from but not limited to Business research & Intelligence, Business review, evaluation & restructuring, developing and structuring strategic plans and Business finance in the Energy sector.

A graduate of the University of Essex (BSc), United Kingdom and Aston Business School (MSc), United Kingdom studying Biomedical Sciences and Entrepreneurship & International Business (EIB) respectively. Ayo has undertaken projects and acquisitions in excess of $20m. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Holder and a Fellow of the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria (FIBM) with other Oil and Gas training qualifications cutting across the entire Oil and Gas value chain.
